The development of the 2.0 version of the BIGtoken app was a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing user experience and aligning with the platform's evolving goals. From wireframing to final design, our focus was on creating a cohesive and engaging interface that effectively communicates BIGtoken's mission and benefits to users.
1. Wireframing and Conceptualization:
· The process began with the receipt of low-fidelity wireframes from the UX team, outlining the basic structure of the app.
· Collaborative input refined these wireframes into a more structured layout, clarifying the content and functionality of each section.
2. Design Exploration and Iteration:
· Following feedback from the design leader, we initiated the creation of a mood board, incorporating existing design elements from previous app versions.
· Multiple iterations were developed to explore various design directions, aiming to establish a cohesive and updated aesthetic for BIGtoken.
3. Layout and Design Development:
· With the main layout and design direction selected, the focus shifted towards crafting a compelling user experience.
· The primary task involved translating the mission and benefits of BIGtoken into an engaging and intuitive design, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation for users.

· Throughout the process, emphasis was placed on ensuring the design's visual appeal and user-friendliness.

We made a strategic decision to create a more immersive design to amplify growth. While working within an existing design system, we allowed certain creative freedoms to develop new elements that effectively communicate BIGtoken's information to users through clean and simple illustrations throughout the website. We planned an end-to-end visual and usability refresh to address the previous UI design, making BIGtoken modern and colorful.
